In early September, Village bus commercial routes 1 and 2 were temporarily combined to address a staffing shortage.

Beginning Monday, November 17, both commercial route 1 and commercial route 2 will resume full service.

Security and Compliance Reporting Resources

The Security Services Department works around the clock to protect the Village. Courteous gate ambassadors monitor entry points, 24-hour dispatch responds to service requests and marked patrol vehicles provide ongoing community coverage.

Residents who believe a community rule may have been violated can complete a community rule violations form available at the Community Center or ici. Common issues include occupancy, clutter and noise or nuisance complaints.

From convenient fixed-route buses to after-hours ride services and specialized paratransit for eligible riders, our community offers several ways to help you stay active and connected.

Here’s an overview of the transportation services available to residents:

• Easy Rider: Discover how to get around the Village with ease using the Easy Rider fixed-route bus system. It’s convenient, reliable and tailored for our community.
• Boost (Lyft): Need a ride after hours? Learn how to access our Boost service and use the Lyft smartphone app to get where you need to go, even when the buses aren’t running.
• Journey paratransit service: If you’re an approved applicant, Journey service is here to provide personalized transportation. Remember, all Village residents interested in Journey must complete an application and a professional assessment process to get started.

To find your closest organics cart, use the carte interactive ou carte imprimable. If a cart is out of place, email LagunaWoods-Recycles@CRRmail.com to report it.

Some green waste is OK, but avoid overfilling bins with garden trimmings. Instead, schedule a Friday pickup at residentservices@vmsinc.org ou 949-597-4600.

Articles volumineux

Place items next to your shared enclosure or curbside by your usual cart location between 7 p.m. the night before and 8 a.m. on collection day. No need to call—CR&R will take care of it by day’s end.

Avoid blocking enclosures or containers. Do not set out car parts, hazardous waste or oversized items requiring more than two people to lift.

Rainy season is just around the corner, meaning now is the time to prepare. When it rains, water flows directly into our creeks, rivers and ocean without being treated. This means anything on the ground, including dog waste, litter, pesticides or debris can be carried into the storm drain system and pollute our waterways.

Take simple steps now to help keep rainwater clean:

1. Pick up dog waste with a bag, tie the bag and place it in a closed bin.
2. Clear leaves and debris from gutters and downspouts.
3. Keep all trash and recyclables in closed bins.
4. Use pesticides sparingly, follow label directions and apply only on calm, dry days at least 48 hours before rain is expected.
