Championship Football Feb. 8

Watch the championship football game on Sunday, February 8, at Clubhouse 5 (24262 Punta Alta). Doors open at 3 p.m., kickoff starts at 3:30 p.m. This event is free. First-come, first-served seating. The GRF no-host bar opens at 3 p.m.

Yoga for Strength, Stability and Breath

Vitality in Motion Yoga for Mindful Longevity is a course grounded in the belief that the body holds its own wisdom and flourishes with gentle, consistent care. The practice is not about reclaiming a younger self, but about becoming the most vibrant, capable version of who we are today. Centered on three essential physiological pillars of warmth, stability and breath, the course offers a supportive

structure that helps students leave the mat feeling open, steady and clear.

Instructor Martha Alvarado specializes in yoga for vitality, focusing on how stretching, balance and breathwork support the aging body at a physiological level.

Free, drop-in classes are on Wednesdays from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Clubhouse 5 fitness room (24262 Punta Alta), starting Wednesday, February 4.

Valentine’s Day Dinner Dance

Indulge in the magic of Valentine’s Day with an enchanting dinner-dance at Clubhouse 5 (24262 Punta Alta) on Saturday, February 14. Doors open at 5 p.m., and dinner and the GRF no-host bar starts at 5:30 p.m. Martinez’s dinner menu includes spinach salad with berries, prime rib with horseradish, baked salmon, baked potato, asparagus, rolls and butter, and chocolate mousse cake. Close Harmony performs at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $55 per person and are on sale in the Clubhouse 5 office. Credit/check only; credit/debit card fees apply.

Compete in the 2026 Village Games

This year’s exciting Village Games begin Monday, April 6, and run through Thursday, April 30.

Registration starts Monday, February 23. The cost to register is $15 for one event and $5 for each additional event.

Two Legends, One Stage

Experience unforgettable songs, sharp banter and the thrilling chemistry of two powerhouse performers bringing the iconic Frank Sinatra and Barbra Streisand to life on Saturday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center (23822 Avenida Sevilla).

Tickets for $20, $25 and $30 go on sale Monday, January 26, at the Performing Arts Center box office and at billets.lagunawoodsvillage.com.

Où: Clubhouse 1 Main Lounge

Dog licensing will take place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and vaccinations will take place 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Dog licenses and vaccinations will be administered by vet services.
For license and vaccination pricing, call vet services at 800-988-8387.

Rabies vaccines are $15 plus $3 for syringe disposal.
By law, all residents of Laguna Woods Village are required to have a current dog license and rabies vaccinations for January 1 through December 31, 2026. A late license fee applies after February 28.
