College Club
Founded in 1991, the COLLEGE CLUB in Laguna Woods Village seeks to promote and stimulate the educational, cultural, civic, and social interests of its members. No degree is required.
- Eligibility: All residents of Laguna Woods Village are welcome; 90% of the members must reside in Laguna Woods Village.
- Calendar Year: January through December (Dark July and August)
- Annual Dues: $25.00

WELCOMES Maria Nicholson, CAPS
Certified Aging in Place Specialist
This presentation focuses on how our homes can support us — or quietly put us at risk as we age. Maria Nicholson, hone safety and fall prevention specialist, will share practical, easy to understand guidance to help older adults recognize common safety issues in the home, and take thoughtful steps to reduce risk while maintaining comfort, dignity and independence.
Maria has 35 years of experience in residential design, remodeling and home safety planning. Her work is informed by both professional expertise and personal caregiving experience, having helped make important caregiving decisions for close family members.

- Book Club: Monthly book review [Note: We are currently looking for a member who wants to start a second book club. Contact collegeclublwv@gmail.com if you are interested.]
- 3-D Dining: Experience delectable, delicious and delightful food in a social gathering in a restaurant setting. Members meet on the last Thursday of the month, except November and December. The next 3-D Dining event is on Thursday, Mar. 26, at Patsy’s Irish Pub, 28971 Golden Lantern, Laguna Niguel. Contact Steve Munzinger, 858-829-4031.
- Lunch Bunch: Enjoy a movie and discuss afterwards at lunch. Meets Saturday following our regular monthly luncheons. Contact Winnie Rice, 949-855-6586. Dutch treat.
