Tending an urban forest
Laguna Woods Village encompasses more than 640 acres of landscaping, which includes an urban forest featuring nearly 33,000 trees. The Village Management Services Landscaping Services Department provides landscaping services for the entire Village, which includes 12,736 manors, all clubhouses, gate areas, Aliso and West Creeks, and the Equestrian Center.

Drought-tolerant plants
If you would like to replace your current landscaping with drought-tolerant plants, please fill out a mutual landscape request form, deliver it to Resident Services and you will be informed of when your request will be heard by your mutual’s Landscape Committee.
Aliso Creek
Aliso Creek is a 19.8-mile-long, mostly urban stream in south Orange County, California. Originating in the Cleveland National Forest in the Santa Ana Mountains, it flows generally southwest and empties into the Pacific Ocean at Laguna Beach.
