Street sweeping plays a crucial role in preventing pollution by removing debris, oil and harmful particles that can clog gutters and pollute local waterways. Federal and local regulations, including the Clean Water Act, require municipalities to help reduce pollution, and your cooperation makes a difference.
By moving your vehicle, you help street crews clean every inch of the street, from curb to curb. A single parked car can block nearly three car lengths of space from being swept.
