Over-the-counter medications are plentiful, but many people use them without giving them a second thought. During the next Optimal Aging Lecture Series event, “What Everyone Should Know About Over-the-Counter Medications,” on Thursday, April 6, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Clubhouse 7, guest lecturer Tatyana Gurvich, BCGP, PharmD, discusses treatment options for common self-treated conditions, compares and contrasts OTC treatment options with respect to older adults, discusses the safety and efficacy of supplements and OTC products for older adults, and shares how to safely use OTC medications.
