Village residents and their friends and guests are cordially invited to visit the Laguna Woods Community Center to enjoy the newly installed 2023 Laguna Woods Art Association exhibit. In this very special, highly regarded and much-anticipated show, art association members who manifest their creative visions in the Clubhouse 4 art studio share the fruits of their talents, passions and joys with the community.
Whether created in acrylic, mixed media, oil, watercolor or other medium, or whether the works are of spectacular nature, a place in time, a calming still life, a bold statement, a fascinating curiosity or pensive individuals, each is sure to inspire, engage, captivate, charm, amuse, provoke or affect in some way.
More than 150 pieces of artwork are displayed along all first- and third-floor hallways and alcoves of the Community Center. Ask concierge desk staff for the exhibition flyer featuring additional details about the show, including how to purchase art directly from the artists.
A placard accompanies each artwork featuring the artist’s name and contact number, as well as the artwork title, medium, dimensions and price (unless marked not for sale/NFS).
Vote for Your Favorite Piece!
Also, from February 1 through 28, please be sure to pick up a ballot from concierge desk staff and vote for your favorite artwork. Each placard also features a number in the bottom left corner. Simply write down the number of the single piece of art that speaks most significantly to you on the ballot and drop it in the ballot box at the desk. The winner will be announced in “What’s Up in the Village” on Friday, March 3, and during the Laguna Woods Art Association member reception.
Please take your time to enjoy this exhibit and the wonderful talents it displays during Community Center hours.
