College Club Luncheon Meeting: December 18, 2024

PROGRAM: CONNECTING WITH PEOPLE THROUGH MUSIC:
AN IMPROVISATIONAL JAZZ PERFORMANCE

Ron Rosenthal will treat us to a fun and lively musical experience at our December luncheon meeting. He is a classically trained musician who began playing the piano and keyboards at the age of five. A multi-talented musician, he played violin in youth orchestras, sang in youth choirs, and was in his first rock band at 15 years old. Ron studied and taught jazz and synth music for years, and even opened for Herbie Hancock in concert. He achieved international sales of his original compositions/recordings through Apple Music, Spotify, and Youtube. He recorded some of his original compositions with jazz fusion great Chad Wackerman (from Frank Zappa’s band). Ron also recorded with engineering pro Rudy Guess (Carol King’s engineer). He has written many original jazz fusion pieces, both instrumentals and songs with vocals. Ron loves performing, composing, combining musicals genres, and connecting with people through music.
