Hula Club


The Laguna Woods Village Hula Club welcomes members to explore and honor the Hawaiian Culture through Hula (dance), Hawaiian History and Language, Cultural Practices and Handicrafts. We provide workshops, excursions to the many Polynesian Festivals in Orange County, and we will travel to the Hawaiian Islands to visit historical and cultural sites. All this in a fun, relaxing atmosphere.

The Hula Club meets on Saturday at Clubhouse 1, from 10:30 - 12:30 pm, in the multipurpose room.

Please join us to begin your introduction to hula,  (bring pen and paper).  You will learn basic steps, at our weekly hula club meetings. These basic steps will prepare you for our workshops.  Our third workshop will be held June 18th.  It is advisable to learn the basic steps prior to learning any hula dance.  

These Workshops will be held approximately every other month.  A small fee will be charged to pay for the instructor.
