Silk screen, also known as screen printing, is an art form that stretches back centuries. It is a versatile technique that forces a medium mixed with an emulsion through a screen onto various materials such as paper, wood, silk, ceramics, and more. It creates beautiful designs and can be combined with other art techniques. The ceramic casters will be demonstrating a basic class on ceramic tiles including how to prepare, design, and caring for the commercial screens. Tiles will be available for purchase.
Sign-ups will be Thursday Feb 12th at 10am in the ceramics studio!
