Porcelain Artists of Laguna Woods
Residents discovering the enjoyment of painting beautiful floral designs or cartoon characters on porcelain plates, cups, vases, tiles, etc. Brushes and paints and tiles are provided at no charge. The porcelain is fired once a week in the kiln room in Clubhouse 4. Beginners welcome! We meet almost every Thursday from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm at Clubhouse 4 in the Photo Lab.
Porcelain painting does not require talent or prior knowledge of art. A teacher is frequently present to demonstate new techniques and teach the basics to beginers. Learn how to design and paint birthday, wedding, and annivery plates, night lights, napkin holders, bathroom and kitchen accessories.
