\nResponsibilities When Using Laguna Woods Village Facilities<\/p>\n
Laguna Woods Village facilities patrons are responsible for providing the following items and cleaning up<\/p>\n
the facilities at the end of the event.<\/p>\n
Items to be supplied by facility user:<\/p>\n
Sponges, dish towels, scrubbing pads and cleanser<\/p>\n
Foil (to replace soiled foil on oven bottom)<\/p>\n
Pots and pans<\/p>\n
Serving dishes and utensils<\/p>\n
Placemats, tablecloths, napkins<\/p>\n
Water, cocktail, wine and champagne glasses<\/p>\n
Automatic dishwasher detergent (Exception: The Recreation Department supplies automatic dishwasher<\/p>\n
detergent for the commercial dishwashers in the main lounge kitchens.)<\/p>\n
Proper kitchen cleanup checklist:<\/p>\n
Clean all dishes, trays, coffee servers, etc., and stack them in their proper place in the pantry (Glassware<\/p>\n
and silverware must be towel dried, but dishes do not require towel drying.)<\/p>\n
Place all food waste in proper receptacle when using commercial kitchen<\/p>\n
Wipe off all tables used for eating and serving with a damp cloth<\/p>\n
Clean and thoroughly dry all large coffee urns and the baskets<\/p>\n
Clean the barbecue if used<\/p>\n
Check with staff for cleanup instructions for grills, broilers and fryers (Clubhouse 5 Main Lounge only)<\/p>\n
Clean the areas around grills, broilers and fryers (CH5-ML only) even if you do not use the equipment<\/p>\n
Check the inside of the oven door and the stovetop; clean any food splatters<\/p>\n
Clean the refrigerator if you use it<\/p>\n
Tie up trash bags neatly for disposal<\/p>\n
Wipe off all sinks, counters and cutting boards (on top as well as shelf underneath)<\/p>\n
Sweep\/vacuum the floor and, when necessary, wet mop the floor<\/p>\n
Proper Room Usage:<\/p>\n
No smoking is permitted in or within 20 feet of the facility<\/p>\n
Flamed candles and incense are not permitted; exceptions are birthday candles and Sternos or similar<\/p>\n
products where the flame must be in a non-combustible (glass, ceramic, metal) holder\/container and<\/p>\n
the flame may not reach above the top of the enclosure<\/p>\n
Personal BBQ\u2019s may not be used at GRF facilities<\/p>\n
No decorations of any kind shall be attached to the walls, chandeliers or ceiling<\/p>\n
Doors and windows are to be kept closed when the heat or air conditioning is in use<\/p>\n
Fireplace, lights, fans and window coverings are to be operated by staff only<\/p>\n
Microphones, projector box and other audio equipment require a photo ID to be checked out<\/p>\n
Permanent furniture, piano and artwork may not be relocated or removed from the facility<\/p>\n
Before leaving the facility, staff will check the facility to ensure adherence to the cleanup and room usage<\/p>\n
policy. Your cooperation in keeping the facilities clean is appreciated.<\/p>\n
