On Monday, May 27, several thousand runners competing in the City of Laguna Hills Memorial Day Half Marathon (10K and 5K) will traverse a portion of Laguna Woods Village. The event starts at the Laguna Hills Mall on Calle de la Louisa at 6:30 a.m. Runners will enter through Gate 2, travel down Via Estrada, turn left on Calle Aragon, turn left on Avenida Sevilla, turn left on Avenida Majorca, turn right on Via Estrada and exit through Gate 2. The first runners are expected to enter the community through Gate 2 just after 6:30 a.m. and the last runners should exit the community around 7:30 a.m.
