A City of Laguna Woods<\/p>\n<p>permit may also be required. All fees for both Mutual Consents and<\/p>\n<p>City permits shall be paid by the Member or on Member&#8217;s behalf.<\/p>\n<p>Member and\/or Member&#8217;s contractor must provide the Permits and<\/p>\n<p>Inspections office with proof of City permit prior to beginning work.<\/p>\n<p>1.2<\/p>\n<p>MEMBER RESPONSIBILITY: Member is solely responsible for the<\/p>\n<p>installation, maintenance, repair, and\/or removal of all permitted<\/p>\n<p>common area alterations.<\/p>\n<p>1.3<\/p>\n<p>CODES AND REGULATIONS: All work shall comply with all<\/p>\n<p>applicable local, state, and federal requirements including, but not<\/p>\n<p>limited to, the current edition of the National Electric Code (NEC).<\/p>\n<p>1.4<\/p>\n<p>WORK HOURS: No work shall commence prior to 7:00a.m. and<\/p>\n<p>no work shall be permitted after 6:00p.m. Monday through Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Work on Saturday shall be permitted from 9:00a.m \u2014 2:00p.m. for<\/p>\n<p>work which results in construction-related noise (e.g. cutting tile,<\/p>\n<p>hammering, use of power tools), and for work that does not create<\/p>\n<p>excessive noise, such as painting and carpet installation, permitted<\/p>\n<p>hours are 7:00a.m. \u2014 6:00p.m. No work is permitted on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>1.5<\/p>\n<p>PLANS: The Member applying for a permit shall provide to the<\/p>\n<p>Permits and Inspections office a detailed plan(s) for approval<\/p>\n<p>indicating all work to be done, i.e., size, location, description and<\/p>\n<p>specifications.<\/p>\n<p>1.6<\/p>\n<p>DUMPSITES: The premises shall be kept free of accumulation of<\/p>\n<p>waste materials and\/or rubbish caused by construction work. The<\/p>\n<p>Member and\/or Member&#8217;s contractor is responsible for removal of<\/p>\n<p>debris and excess material and must leave work areas &#8220;BROOM<\/p>\n<p>CLEAN&#8221; daily. USE OF COMMUNITY DUMPSITES FOR<\/p>\n<p>Section 44 \u2014 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations<\/p>\n<p>Page 1 of 4<br \/>\nCONSTRUCTION RELATED DEBRIS IS PROHIBITED.<\/p>\n<p>Contractor&#8217;s or Member&#8217;s dumpsters, if required, must have<\/p>\n<p>location approved by the Manor Alterations Department.<\/p>\n<p>1.7<\/p>\n<p>CONTRACTOR: Installation must be performed by a contractor<\/p>\n<p>properly licensed in California for the work being performed. .<\/p>\n<p>1.8<\/p>\n<p>CONTRACTOR CONDUCT: Member&#8217;s contractors, their<\/p>\n<p>personnel, and sub-contractors shall refrain at all times from using<\/p>\n<p>profanity, or abusive or loud language, and must wear shirts at all<\/p>\n<p>times. Radio, MP3, CD or cassette players are not permitted on<\/p>\n<p>the project site. Contractor and subcontractor personnel will, at all<\/p>\n<p>times, extend and exhibit a courteous demeanor to residents.<\/p>\n<p>1.9<\/p>\n<p>RESTORATION OF AFFECTED AREAS: Member shall cause to<\/p>\n<p>be completely restored all common areas affected by the<\/p>\n<p>installation process.<\/p>\n<p>2.0<\/p>\n<p>ELECTRICAL POWER SOURCE<\/p>\n<p>21.<\/p>\n<p>Detailed site specific plans, wet stamped and signed by a California<\/p>\n<p>Licensed Electrical Engineer, showing electrical power source<\/p>\n<p>connection location, Electric Vehicle Charging Station location and<\/p>\n<p>routing of conduit must be submitted to the Manor Alterations<\/p>\n<p>Department for approval.<\/p>\n<p>2.2<\/p>\n<p>The use of the Mutual\u2019s main electrical service panel to a multi-unit<\/p>\n<p>building to accommodate the installation of electric vehicle<\/p>\n<p>Charging Station is strictly prohibited.<\/p>\n<p>23<\/p>\n<p>The use of Laundry Room, Carport, Recreation Room, and any<\/p>\n<p>other Mutual electrical circuits serving common area to<\/p>\n<p>accommodate the installation of electric vehicle Charging Station is<\/p>\n<p>strictly prohibited.<\/p>\n<p>24<\/p>\n<p>A written approval from Southern California Edison for the electrical<\/p>\n<p>power source connection to Edison equipment must be submitted<\/p>\n<p>to the Manor Alterations Department.<\/p>\n<p>2.5<\/p>\n<p>The Mutual Member is responsible for all costs associated with the<\/p>\n<p>installation of a new meter and payment for electrical service.<\/p>\n<p>2.6<\/p>\n<p>The Mutual Member is required to use a California Licensed<\/p>\n<p>and Certified Electrical Contractor for the installation of the<\/p>\n<p>Electric Vehicle Charging Station.<\/p>\n<p>Section 44 \u2014 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations<\/p>\n<p>Page 2 of 4<br \/>\n3 LOCATION<\/p>\n<p>3.41<\/p>\n<p>The location of the Electric Vehicle Charging Station is restricted to<\/p>\n<p>the Mutual Member&#8217;s parking space or garage.<\/p>\n<p>3.2<\/p>\n<p>The location of new meters is restricted to the Mutual Member&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p>parking space or as approved by Southern California Edison and<\/p>\n<p>the Manor Alterations Department.<\/p>\n<p>3.3<\/p>\n<p>If the proposed Electric Vehicle Charging Station, and or any<\/p>\n<p>electrical conduit and any other equipment, including the electric<\/p>\n<p>meter is approved to be located on Common Area, the Mutual<\/p>\n<p>Member will be required to record a Common Area Use<\/p>\n<p>Agreement.<\/p>\n<p>3.4<\/p>\n<p>The Electrical Vehicle Charging Station shall be installed complying<\/p>\n<p>with all applicable manufacturer&#8217;s guidelines and shall be suitable<\/p>\n<p>for the environment (indoor or outdoor) where it is to be located.<\/p>\n<p>3.5<\/p>\n<p>Adequate barriers must be installed to protect the Electrical Vehicle<\/p>\n<p>Charging Station from contact with vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>3.6<\/p>\n<p>If the installation is in an area subject to flooding, the Electric<\/p>\n<p>Vehicle Charging Station shall be elevated or designed accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>4.0<\/p>\n<p>CONDUIT ROUTING<\/p>\n<p>4.1<\/p>\n<p>The Mutual Member and\/or their contractor is responsible to notify<\/p>\n<p>Dig Alert (dial 8-1-1) 48 hours prior to excavation to identify all<\/p>\n<p>underground utility locations and is responsible for the subsequent<\/p>\n<p>coordination with any utility companies.<\/p>\n<p>4.2<\/p>\n<p>The Mutual Member is responsible to notify the Landscape<\/p>\n<p>Department through the Property Service desk a minimum of 10<\/p>\n<p>days prior to excavation. Work related to removal and\/or re-routing<\/p>\n<p>of Mutual landscaping and irrigation lines may be performed by the<\/p>\n<p>Mutual at the Member&#8217;s expense.<\/p>\n<p>4.3<\/p>\n<p>Any revision to Mutual plumbing lines requires written authorization<\/p>\n<p>from the Manor Alterations Department prior to the commencement<\/p>\n<p>of work.
