This project took the<\/p>\n<p>portraits of 16 centenarians (people over the<\/p>\n<p>(1<\/p>\n<p>A)<\/p>\n<p>age of 100) and matched them with photos of<\/p>\n<p>t<\/p>\n<p>PEN<\/p>\n<p>their younger selves. Eleven project centenarians<\/p>\n<p>attended the launch reception with family,<\/p>\n<p>friends and caregivers, including five generations<\/p>\n<p>4\u2019<\/p>\n<p>f<\/p>\n<p>of centenarian Harriet Mudge\u2019s family.<\/p>\n<p>Produced in cooperation with the Camera Club,<\/p>\n<p>the Video Club and Village Management Services\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Department of Recreation and Special Events,<\/p>\n<p>ot <\/p>\n<p>the Village Centenarian Project aimed to show<\/p>\n<p>how people change\u2014and yet still, mysteriously,<\/p>\n<p>whe<\/p>\n<p>remain the same. The project was based on a<\/p>\n<p>A<\/p>\n<p>similar project by Czech Republic photographer<\/p>\n<p>Ve<\/p>\n<p>Jan Langer, but with an added dimension\u2014<\/p>\n<p>three 30-minute television programs containing<\/p>\n<p>participant interviews. Among the 18,000 seniors<\/p>\n<p>><\/p>\n<p>living here in Laguna Woods Village, 76 are 100<\/p>\n<p>years of age and older.<\/p>\n<p>q<\/p>\n<p>The Village Centenarian Project was first<\/p>\n<p>suggested to the Thrive Task Force by Lucy Parker<\/p>\n<p>in 2017. With the assistance of the Department<\/p>\n<p>of Recreation and Special Events, work began<\/p>\n<p>&#038;<\/p>\n<p>in November 2018. Co-occupant: Must be 45 or older, or must be a<\/p>\n<p>and CC&#038;Rs are very clear about who may reside in<\/p>\n<p>spouse of a qualifying resident, or a co-habitant of<\/p>\n<p>any given community. Third Laguna Hills Mutual is<\/p>\n<p>a qualifying resident, or provide primary economic<\/p>\n<p>no exception. Third\u2019s residency restrictions apply to<\/p>\n<p>support, or provide primary physical support<\/p>\n<p>everyone living in Third Mutual. A guest may<\/p>\n<p>years or a misdemeanor within five years of the<\/p>\n<p>stay overnight for a total of 60 days in any<\/p>\n<p>date of the application, must be approved by<\/p>\n<p>12-month period, may not stay in a manor<\/p>\n<p>the board for membership (member) and must<\/p>\n<p>during the absence of the qualifying resident,<\/p>\n<p>reside in the manor.<\/p>\n<p>co-occupant or lessee, and must obtain an<\/p>\n<p>overnight parking pass for every night in<\/p>\n<p>2. Lessee: One lessee must be 55 or older, must<\/p>\n<p>which the guest stays after 12 a.m. (midnight).<\/p>\n<p>have a formal landlord\/tenant relationship with a<\/p>\n<p>Approved Residents must obtain guest passes for<\/p>\n<p>Member that is defined by a lease contract, must<\/p>\n<p>their guests from the Community\u2019s Department<\/p>\n<p>have a lease authorization approved by the board<\/p>\n<p>of Security Services.<\/p>\n<p>or by VMS Staff on behalf of the board and must<\/p>\n<p>have a lease term of no less than 60 days. The revision<\/p>\n<p>prohibits the removal of AC\/heat pump sleeves in<\/p>\n<p>By Roy Bruninghaus, Third Mutual Board Secretary<\/p>\n<p>three-story buildings and requires a variance for the<\/p>\n<p>On June 18, at its regular monthly meeting, Third<\/p>\n<p>removal of AC\/heat pump sleeves in one- and two-<\/p>\n<p>Laguna Hills Mutual gave final approval to one<\/p>\n<p>story buildings.<\/p>\n<p>resolution and placed a second resolution on 28-day<\/p>\n<p>review. A resolution to revise Alteration Standard 40<\/p>\n<p>Third Communications Committee Charter: Third<\/p>\n<p>(exterior roll-up shades) was given final approval.<\/p>\n<p>Board approved the removal of paragraph three<\/p>\n<p>Aresolution to revise Alteration Standard 4 (air<\/p>\n<p>in the existing charter. This paragraph required<\/p>\n<p>conditioning units\/heat pumps) was placed on 28-<\/p>\n<p>the committee to review capital requirements,<\/p>\n<p>day review. Third Board also approved a revision<\/p>\n<p>requests for capital equipment, programs and<\/p>\n<p>to the Third Laguna Hills Mutual Communications<\/p>\n<p>projected revenues, and service levels related to<\/p>\n<p>Committee Charter. The Board also reviewed two<\/p>\n<p>public relations. The Board removed this paragraph<\/p>\n<p>variance denials from the Architectural Control and<\/p>\n<p>because these activities are the responsibility of the<\/p>\n<p>Standards Committee.<\/p>\n<p>GRF Communications Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Alteration Standard 40 (exterior roll-up shades<\/p>\n<p>Committee Denials: Under Unfinished Business,<\/p>\n<p>revision): Third Board voted to approve a resolution<\/p>\n<p>Third Board placed Architecture or Landscape<\/p>\n<p>to revise Alteration Standard 40 that would allow<\/p>\n<p>Committee denials on the agenda for final<\/p>\n<p>scalloped or decorative edges on exterior roll-up<\/p>\n<p>disposition by the board. The Architecture Control<\/p>\n<p>and Standards Committee submitted two denials of<\/p>\n<p>shades.
