Any alterations to fireplaces shall be constructed to the same height and<\/p>\n

SPARK ARRESTORS<\/p>\n

Spark arrestors will be required for all fireplaces.<\/p>\n
3.2<\/p>\n
A permit will be required for installation of spark arrestors or rain caps for<\/p>\n
existing fireplaces. Some units, depending upon design and color, may be<\/p>\n
required to be painted to match the building or chimney color.<\/p>\n
3.3<\/p>\n
No spark arrestor or rain cap may protrude higher than 12″ above the flue<\/p>\n
