Learn About Veterans’ Benefits

Visit the Clubhouse 7 main lounge on Wednesday, July 23, 2 to 3:30 p.m. to join an informative session covering key veterans’ benefits, including:

  • VA disability compensation and health care programs
  • At-home and residential VA care programs
  • Benefits for surviving spouses and family benefits
  • Burial and memorial benefits

This event is cohosted by the Social Services Division and Nathan Sutton, an eight-year U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former combat engineer. Following his military service, Nathan spent 12 years with the Department of Veterans Affairs, assisting more than 20,000 veterans in accessing critical benefits throughout his 20-year federal career.

Sutton is also the co-founder of several nationally recognized nonprofits, including a music therapy program raising over $2 million annually, a recreational therapy initiative serving 10,000 veterans and a wellness nonprofit promoting ethical, whole health practices. His award-winning work continues to make a powerful impact on veteran mental health and well-being.
