Residents are invited to a compelling evening of insight and inspiration as MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center presents HeartSense: Wisdom, Wellness & Expert Care, a community health lecture dedicated to the latest innovations in heart health.
This free event will take place Monday, June 16, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Clubhouse 2, located at 24112 Moulton Parkway.
The evening will feature a panel of distinguished cardiac experts sharing groundbreaking developments in cardiovascular medicine, from robotic-assisted surgery to advanced imaging technologies powered by artificial intelligence.
Attendees will hear from:
- Dr. Asad Shah, who will explore the remarkable possibilities of robotic-assisted cardiac surgery, offering patients greater precision and quicker recovery times.
- Dr. Tim Lee, discussing key approaches to heart repair, including valve procedures, bypass surgery, and atrial fibrillation (AFib) management.
- Dr. Pejman Giglou, highlighting the evolving role of imaging in cardiac care, including the use of CTA, MRI, and AI in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Dr. Dan Walters, who will provide practical strategies for staying heart healthy after 55 and how to effectively reduce your risk of heart attack.
