The Village Reads is a community-wide reading and discussion event over a single book. This year’s book is “Klara and the Sun” by Kazuo Ishiguro which tells the story of an artificial friend who is purchased by a family to help their sick daughter.
Speakers who will lead us through our discussions are Sandra Rosencrans, a highly regarded authority on the contemporary novel, John Peters of the MIT AI institute and Neil Sahota who has been described as the “guru” of AI.
The afternoon will be a time to learn, discuss and enjoy.
