Concrete repair work will begin May 19 and is scheduled for Avenida Castilla, Calle Azul and Avenida Del Sol as well as cul-de-sacs (CDS) 29, 73 and 46. Preparation and demolition will take approximately one week, followed by two days of forming and pouring new concrete the following week. Finishing touches are expected to take place the week of June 23.
The contractor, All American Asphalt, will distribute and post notifications two weeks in advance of work starting and will post no parking signs 48 hours in advance of work starting.
Affected Streets
While some disruption is expected along Avenida Castilla, Calle Azul and Avenida Del Sol, at least one traffic lane will remain open for through traffic and parking.
Cul-de-Sacs 29, 73 and 46
Due to the layout of these cul-de-sacs, they will be closed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on workdays, then reopened overnight to allow limited access. This adjusted schedule is intended to minimize disruption. Residents should anticipate daytime access limitations and plan accordingly. For those in CDS 29, limited parking may be available at nearby Clubhouse 1; however, residents are encouraged to use overflow parking past the library or behind the clubhouse to avoid interfering with clubhouse operations.
CDS 46 will be fully closed during the forming and pouring phase and will reopen once the concrete cures.
