On Monday, April 18, the Performing Arts Center is excited to showcase “Respect,” the 2021 musical drama and remarkable true story of Aretha Franklin’s journey to find her iconic voice—from a child singing in her father’s church choir to her international superstardom. Stars Jennifer Hudson as Franklin, along with Marlon Wayans, Audra McDonald, Heather Headley and Mary J. Blige.
Doors open 1:45 p.m. and movies begin at 2 p.m. This movie event is free and no ticket is required for entry.
