Starz Encore is an American premium television channel owned by Lionsgate entertainment company. Its programming features mainly older and recent theatrically released feature films, although some of its multiplex channels also carry acquired television series.
For many years, Pay TV subscribers have been viewing the East Coast feed of the network on eight of the 10 available channels. The GRF Media and Communications Committee has approved staff’s recommendation that all of the channels should be broadcast using the West Coast feed only instead of a combination of the two feeds. This will enable Broadband Services to better manage the broadcast feeds for the Starz Encore networks.
Approximately 300 subscribers must now reschedule their series recordings with the new West Coast time zone.
