Night Lights

When the Laguna Woods Village pickleball and paddle tennis courts were reconstructed in spring 2019, work included a new concrete slab, fencing and access gates, court layout reconfiguration, a shade structure, countertops, sinks, storage bins and partial court lights.

"Lite the Nite" is a community improvement project approved by GRF to add lights to the remaining courts, but budgets were tight, so the Pickleball Club is leading the effort to raise $25,000 by December 31, 2021, to fund the project. Donations are managed through the Village Community Fund (VCF), a 501(c)3 nonprofit community benefit organization.

As fundraising continues, VCF is hopeful that all courts will be lit at night for longer play, delighting hundreds of Village pickleball and paddle tennis enthusiasts.
