Third Board Appointment Stands
A meeting of the Third Board of Directors held on July 27, 2021, to appoint an applicant to fill a recent vacancy was delayed for nearly one hour due to various technical difficulties. Due to this delay, a recess prior to the appointment seemed logical to the chair to clarify that all board members had heard clear responses from both potential appointees. No vote took place during the recess. Based on a member comment regarding this open-forum recess, the board held an emergency meeting and determined no procedural impropriety occurred, and the appointment stands.
