Happiness Is a Holiday Parade
On Saturday, December 5, 49 resident golf carts, a Recreation and Special Events Department cart, Cart Mart with Santa, about one dozen classic vehicles, a fire engine and brass quartet musicians on the back of a truck joined in the much-anticipated Village holiday golf cart parade. Residents adorned their golf carts with splendors of the season and paraded through the community to bring cheer and merriment to all.
Hundreds of spectators were in attendance, and everyone was cheerful and had a great time.
“Great holiday parade event!” said Randy Scott, resident and member of the Car Club. “Thanks to Rec Dept staff for organizing this event. It was very gratifying to see the hundreds of residents and their families cheering and waving to us on the parade route!”
