Aliso Creek Tree Trimming
Beginning the week of October 26, the Landscaping Department will oversee the trimming of several large, overgrown trees on Aliso Creek-adjacent slopes. The trees are quite large—some are more than 50 feet tall—and, due to their size and location, have been inaccessible for years.
The work will take place in the vicinity of buildings 632 through 642, and equipment will be entering the creek from Avenida Sevilla near building 596. Contractors will be trimming the trees and “zip lining” debris over the creek and down into the meadow where it will be cut and hauled away.
Residents are cautioned to be aware of moving vehicles and to avoid the areas marked with caution tape/traffic cones until the work has been completed.
