Who Can You Call After-Hours?

Water intrusion or some similar urgent situation after normal business hours or on weekends is enough to send anyone into a panic. What do you do? Who do you call? Please see below for guidelines on what department to call in a nonlife-threatening emergency after hours in the Village.

Resident Services

Resident Services call-in hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except major holidays (walk-in hours are currently suspended due to COVID-19). The Resident Services main line is 949-597-4600.

Three Resident Services agents take calls on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For Saturday emergencies during those hours, call Resident Services at 949-597-4600; for after-hours Saturday and Sunday emergencies, contact Security directly at 949-580-1400. 

When residents reach the Resident Services main line after hours on weekends, they can select among menu options that will transfer them either to Security or Gate Clearance.

Guest Passes

DwellingLive: The fastest way to clear guests through Village gates is by registering them via computer, tablet or smartphone 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with DwellingLive.

Register guests online: Visit the residents page and click the “guest pass” link. Once you are presented with the login page, simply use your email address of record and default password to get access to your guest information:

·       Email: Your email address on file

·       Default password: Your resident ID (the number on your ID card)

If you don’t know your email address on file, or you want to make a change to your information, contact Resident Services at residentservices@vmsinc.org or 949-597-4600. Watch video tutorials on using online guest registration here and here

For security reasons, residents are encouraged to change their default password immediately. To do this, once logged in, go to “My Account” and edit your user profile. Here you can also sign up for email and text notifications to alert you when your guest arrives at the gate.

Gate Clearance: Residents may also call Gate Clearance at 949-597-4301.
