Grant Hier, Poet Laureate Comes to the Village

The Spoken Word Club brings Grant Hier, inaugural Poet Laureate of Anaheim, full Professor at LCAC and poetry editor for Chiron Review to the Village. His accomplishments include the Kick Prize, Nancy Dew Taylor Prize and his book Untended Garden won Prize Americana. He is the author of The Difference Between, Similitude and California Continuum, Vol. 1 Lirae-377 Poems in 365 Days. California Continuum, Vol. 2, is arriving soon! 

The Spoken Word Club of Laguna Woods is a place for poets, writers, playwrights and storytellers to read their writings and develop new material. In the monthly meetings, members have an opportunity to read or perform their material. Dues are $10 a year to defray costs of room rental fees and refreshments.
