South County Disaster Preparedness Expo

Orange County Supervisor Lisa Bartlett, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the Orange County Fire Authority and the City of Mission Viejo invite you to learn more about how to prepare for disaster on Sunday, October 19, from 9 a.m. to noon at Village Green at the Norman P. Murray Community Center. 

The expo will feature state-of-the-art emergency response vehicle and equipment displays; interactive vendor booths; disaster preparedness kits; free giveaways; food, music and entertainment; and fun activities for all ages. The event is free and open to the public, and begins at the conclusion of the city’s “Walk Against Drugs.” Free shuttle service: Newhart Middle School to and from Mission Viejo High School 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Norman Murray Center to and from Newhart and MVHS 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
