In the second part of the Timeless Melodies salute to America’s greatest troubadour, music historian Larry Maurer presents Sinatra’s most challenging years, as the war ends and he loses his audience. Sinatra made a triumphant comeback winning an Oscar in For Here to Eternity and with Nelson Riddle developed a mature sound that won him international fame in nightclubs, Las Vegas, the Rat Pack and movies.
