Free Chair Yoga class will help you reduce stress, feel better
If you’re seeking a great way to stretch, improve your posture and reduce stress, consider taking a free one-hour Chair Yoga class:
- Tuesdays at Clubhouse 5 from 2 To 3 p.m.
- Thursdays at Clubhouse 6 from 10 To 11 a.m.
Led by talented yoga instructor Kristine deYoung, Chair Yoga is for folks seeking muscle toning, stress relief, improved balance, posture and strength, but have found it difficult to get on the floor for traditional yoga classes. Laguna Woods residents are welcome to visit this calm and friendly class.
Kristine has been teaching Hatha-style yoga since 2013 when she received her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certification. She is the founder of the Gentle Yoga Club, which just celebrated three years of weekly yoga classes.
