Good Neighbor Captain Volunteers Wanted

Are you a Village Resident who enjoys connecting with neighbors and assisting them during times of need? The Good Neighbor Captain Program, designed to support Village neighborhoods in the event of a disaster, gives volunteers that very opportunity. Trained by the Disaster Preparedness Task Force and supported by Village Management Services Staff, Good Neighbor Captains share information on how to prepare for small- and large-scale disasters, including earthquake, fire, flood, chemical incidents or acts of terror, with fellow Residents. In the event of a disaster, these volunteers check in with neighbors, record any injuries and building damage, and route the information to the nearest Clubhouse Care and Reporting Center. Consider becoming a volunteer and help your fellow neighbors.
