Self-Guided Village Tree Walks

The History Center offers three self-guided tree walks, allowing you to discover many of the unique and beautiful trees in Laguna Woods Village. The tree walk planning and research was conducted by Jean Lustig. The photography and printed guides were created by Pat Wilkinson. The Friendship Walk was the first of Laguna Woods Village Vintage Walks, established in 1966. It begins on Avenida Castilla. The second walk, Aliso Creek, begins at the bridge on Avenida Sevilla. The Serpentine Walk was established in the late ’60s and is the third of the Village Vintage Walks. Visit the History Center website to take the walks virtually through video guide. To experience the walks in person, pick up printed Tree Walk Guides at the History Center (located at 24266 Calle Aragon, Laguna Hills, CA 92654). The guides are also available in the Community Center and the Clubhouses.
