Inaugural Jewish Food Festival April 29
Get ready to tempt your taste buds at the inaugural Jewish Food Festival from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, April 29 in Clubhouse 1.
Hosted by the Reform Temple of Laguna Woods, the main lounge will boast an array of Jewish dishes, homemade baked goods and an opportunity raffle. Feast on brisket sandwiches with coleslaw and kosher pickles; bagels, lox and cream cheese; barbecued quarter-pound hot dogs; kugel; pita chips and humus; homemade chicken soup; challah; falafel and other traditional fare.
On the patio, guests will enjoy exuberant music from the Shtetl Menschen Klezmer Band, Israeli dancing led by Rebeca Gilad and a craft sale with artisans.
Admission is free with food available for purchase.
In addition to the Reform Temple, Hadassah, ORT America, Chabad Jewish Center of Laguna Woods, National Council of Jewish Women, Temple Judea Social and Cultural Club and the Laguna Woods Region of Jewish Federation and Family Services of Orange County will be on hand selling food or providing information about their organizations.
