GENERAL REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n

2.0<\/p>\n
EXTERIOR CABINETS<\/p>\n

All patio installations shall be enclosed in a cabinet which meets all<\/p>\n
manufacturer’s requirements.<\/p>\n
2.2<\/p>\n
The cabinet design shall be submitted to the Alterations Division prior<\/p>\n
to issuance of a Mutual Consent. The design shall address protection<\/p>\n
of the equipment from the elements.<\/p>\n

Cabinets must be obscured from public view (i.e., block wall, closed<\/p>\n
patio).<\/p>\n

Cabinets to be painted to match existing color of building.<\/p>\n
25<\/p>\n
Location of unit and\/or plumbing connections must be submitted in<\/p>\n
writing to the the Alterations Division prior to issuance of a Mutual<\/p>\n
Consent.<\/p>\n
2.6<\/p>\n
A Mutual Consent will be not be issued for manors that do not qualify<\/p>\n
as determined by existing waste line sizes. Minimum sizes are 3″ ABS<\/p>\n
plastic and 3″ cast iron.<\/p>\n
2.7<\/p>\n
All penetrations through existing walls shall be properly flashed and<\/p>\n
caulked to provide a weather tight seal around all protruding plumbing<\/p>\n
electrical and vent lines.
\n2.8<\/p>\n
Connections below slab shall be properly vented and covered with<\/p>\n
sand and “Visqueen” before replacement of concrete.<\/p>\n
2.9<\/p>\n
All hot and cold water supply lines shall be of minimum 1\/2″ diameter,<\/p>\n
type L copper.<\/p>\n
2.10<\/p>\n
All pressure lines shall be securely strapped to prevent movement or<\/p>\n
knocking.<\/p>\n
2.11<\/p>\n
All electrical wiring to be located in walls. No exposed conduit will be<\/p>\n

2.12<\/p>\n
The installation of washers and dryers in three-story buildings is<\/p>\n
prohibited and variance requests for washers and dryers in three-<\/p>\n
story buildings will not be accepted.<\/p>\n
*Note* Any penetrations made on Mutual owned flat PVC roofs requires express<\/p>\n
approval by the Mutual via Mutual Consent and the Mutual Roofing Contractor to<\/p>\n
perform tie-ins per Mutual Roof Warranty requirements. Failure to do so, will result in<\/p>\n
corrections being performed by the Mutual and costs incurred, being passed onto the<\/p>\n
