GRF is seeking qualified applicants to fill one seat on the Village Management Services (VMS) board of directors. The term for this position ends in 2025.
Applicants must be members of United Mutual or Third Mutual.
Laguna Woods Village is managed by VMS Inc., a member-owned, mutual-benefit nonprofit corporation that has provided full-service management to the Village and its residents since 2016. Unlike most age-restricted communities, this model helps ensure a high level of resident oversight and involvement in day-to-day operations.
The VMS board is responsible for overseeing VMS operations and supporting its staff. Board meetings are open to members of other governing boards, except during closed session.

Nominations are open now. Interested members may obtain an application and instructions by visiting the concierge at the Laguna Woods Village Community Center (24351 El Toro Road). The concierge will notify Corporate Secretary Makayla Schwietert (949-268-2295) or Assistant Corporate Secretary Paul Nguyen (949-268-2383) of the applicant’s arrival.
Completed applications and candidate statements are due to Ms. Schwietert or Mr. Nguyen no later than 5 p.m. Monday, July 7. Interviews will take place on Thursday, July 17, at 11:30 a.m. in the Community Center board room and virtually via Zoom.
