Each unit is responsible for a pro rata share of GRF\u2019s assessment, regardless of whether<\/p>\n
occupancy is one or two individuals. However, when more than two individuals reside in a unit,<\/p>\n
GREF charges an additional occupancy fee to recover costs related to incremental usage of<\/p>\n
GRF amenities and facilities.<\/p>\n
On December 5, 2023, the GRF board of directors adopted Resolution 90-23-69, which set the<\/p>\n
additional occupancy fee at 50% of the GRF total basic assessment per manor per month<\/p>\n
(rounded to the nearest dollar) for each additional occupant greater than two, to offset costs<\/p>\n
incurred by the extra occupants.<\/p>\n
On September 3, 2024, the GRF board adopted its 2025 business plan, which established its<\/p>\n
total basic assessment as $238.19 per manor per month. Therefore, effective January 1, 2025,<\/p>\n
the additional occupancy fee will be increased to $119 ($238 x 50%).<\/p>\n
The additional fee does not apply to caregivers (live-in or other) who are registered with the<\/p>\n
State of California and GRF.<\/p>\n
