Usage fees: As of October 1, 2024, EV charging rates are as follows:<\/p>\n
The cost to approved Laguna Woods Village residents remains at $0.31 per kWh for both<\/p>\n
Level 2 and Level 3 chargers.<\/p>\n
The cost to the general public is $.45 per kWh for Level 2 chargers and $0.65 per kWh for<\/p>\n
Level 3 chargers.<\/p>\n
Parking: Seven parking spaces are for EV charging only; as of July 1, 2025, parking rates are as<\/p>\n

\nHow to Start a Charging Session<\/p>\n
+ Sign up to receive a free card. If you aren\u2019t a member, sign up at www.chargepoint.com<\/p>\n
A card will be mailed to you.<\/p>\n

Activate your card. When your card arrives by mail, log in, go to My Account, and follow<\/p>\n
the instructions under Set Up ChargePoint card.<\/p>\n
Download the mobile app to start charging now. Get the mobile app and use the card<\/p>\n
reader on your smart phone. No need to have a card handy, just use your smart phone.<\/p>\n
Join the Golden Rain Foundation connections group (see instructions on page 3).<\/p>\n
Use any ChargePoint station.<\/p>\n
Use your ChargePoint mobile app to locate other ChargePoint locations.<\/p>\n
Charging your electric vehicle.<\/p>\n
Tap your ChargePoint card over the reader symbol, press the handle button to remove<\/p>\n
the charging connector, and simply plug in. After charging is complete, tap your card to<\/p>\n
end the session, unplug the connector and return the connector to the station. You can<\/p>\n
also start a session from the ChargePoint mobile app.<\/p>\n
