The Laguna Woods  Village Library is a community library, focused solely on Laguna Woods residents. We are your independent and private “Village Library”, separate from the Orange County Public Library. To become a member of the Village Library, visit us and we’ll use your Village ID Card to get you entered into our own, separate Village Library system.

הוראות הגעה לספרייה: After passing Gate 1 quickly get in the left lane. At the first stop sign, turn left onto Calle Aragon. Watch for Library/Clubhouse 1 signs. Turn left into the Clubhouse 1 lot, then immediately turn right. The Village Library is in the single story building on the right, at 24266 Calle Aragon. Parking is limited near the building. If there are no parking spots available, continue past the library. Turn left onto Calle Aragon and then immediately left again into the overflow parking lot.

מועדוני ספרים בספריית הכפר לגונה וודס

Our Village Library hosts monthly book discussions for three book clubs. Meetings to discuss each book are at the library on three different nights of each month:

• • מועדון הספרים של יום שני השני נפגש בשעה 18:00

• • מועדון הספרים של יום שלישי השלישי נפגש בשעה 18:00

• • יום רביעי הרביעי, המכונה "קולות נשים", נפגש בשעה 19:00.

Annually, in the fall, members of each book club are eligible to nominate and vote for that club’s next 11 reads. Our voting process finishes in late fall, and is followed by the winning books being revealed at an annual party for All Book Clubs, known as our “ABC Event” held during the first half of January at a Village Clubhouse. Below under the “Documents” heading are some  annual brochures with library info and a full years listings of books read by all 3 book clubs, which you can download and/or print. Current year versions are also available in our library. Come visit us in person and pick one up. Main intents of our book club discussions are to broaden your personal perspective, as well as to be educational experiences. Most of our book club include some good laughs, and it can be so interesting to find out how differently others may interpret the same book you both read!

Come to any of our discussion meetings at the Village Library and speak with our Book Clubs Director & Facilitator, Donna Dahl.
