DEFENSIBLE SPACE INSPECTION AND CERTIFICATION<\/p>\n
CALIFORNIA FIRE HAZARD DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENT (EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2021)<\/p>\n
If a property is located in a High or Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone within a State or Local<\/p>\n
Responsibility Area, California Civil Code \u00a71102.19 requires sellers to provide buyers with documentation<\/p>\n
of compliance with either Public Resources Code \u00a74291 or applicable local vegetation management<\/p>\n
ordinances. If documentation is not available by close of escrow, the buyer must sign an agreement to<\/p>\n
obtain it within one year of closing.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS TO COMPLY<\/p>\n
California Civil Code \u00a71102.19 requires sellers to<\/p>\n
provide buyers with documentation showing the<\/p>\n
property complies with PRC \u00a74291 and\/or local<\/p>\n
