APPLICATIONS<\/p>\n

With the application for Mutual Consent, a plan shall be submitted that<\/p>\n
indicates all work to be done; e.g., type of satellite dish, a full description,<\/p>\n
the location on building, anchoring, cable routing and relevant information<\/p>\n
regarding all attachments. Site location will be contingent upon approval<\/p>\n
by the Alterations Division.<\/p>\n
2.2<\/p>\n
All steel mounting components for the satellite dish must be galvanized or<\/p>\n
zinc coated.<\/p>\n
23<\/p>\n
In the event that a satellite dish must be removed for any reason, it shall<\/p>\n
be the Member’s responsibility to remove and properly store it until such<\/p>\n
time that maintenance work has been completed.<\/p>\n
24<\/p>\n
No satellite dish will be permitted (or installed) on roofs with Mutual<\/p>\n
photovoltaic system (solar panels) or areas which may pose a hazard to<\/p>\n
residents or workmen due to its location and\/or dimensions.<\/p>\n
2.5<\/p>\n
Penetrations through walls shall be thoroughly sealed. Penetrations<\/p>\n
through roofs are strictly prohibited. The length of exterior cable runs<\/p>\n
must be kept to a minimum. All cables shall be installed in wire mold (vinyl<\/p>\n
or aluminum) and painted to match the surface attached to.

2.6<\/p>\n
According to the plans submitted and the need for specific satellite dish<\/p>\n
gear, the Member shall make all efforts to install a unit that will be hidden<\/p>\n
from sight and is as compact as possible. The Mutual retains the right to<\/p>\n
request screening to hide the dish from view.<\/p>\n
2.7<\/p>\n
All satellite dishes and exterior cables shall be removed; all<\/p>\n
penetrations shall be properly patched, sealed and textured\/painted<\/p>\n
to match the surfaces prior to the sale or transfer of real property.<\/p>\n
3.0<\/p>\n
EQUIPMENT<\/p>\n

No more than one (1) dish per dwelling unit is allowed.<\/p>\n
3.2<\/p>\n
No satellite dish shall exceed 36\u201d in diameter.<\/p>\n
3.3<\/p>\n
All satellite dishes shall be installed only within the perimeter of patios,<\/p>\n
balconies, or on flat roofs.<\/p>\n
3.4<\/p>\n
A tripod or pipe mount must be utilized for patio or balcony installations.<\/p>\n
Attaching a satellite dish or any of its components directly to the building is<\/p>\n
strictly prohibited.<\/p>\n
3.5<\/p>\n
Satellite dish installation is permitted on flat roofs when the location does<\/p>\n
not interfere with the overall visual continuity of the unit and\/or surrounding<\/p>\n
area. The satellite dish must be mounted on a non-penetrating stand<\/p>\n
weighted down with a minimum of four 8\u201d X 8\u201d X 16\u201d cinderblocks and<\/p>\n
must be located only above the subject unit and at least 10\u2019 from the roof<\/p>\n
edge, (See Example 1 below). Attaching a satellite dish or any of its<\/p>\n
components directly to a roof is strictly prohibited.<\/p>\n
3.6<\/p>\n
For installation of a satellite dish onto a flat PVC cool roof, the member<\/p>\n
must install a 3\u2019 X 3\u2019 satellite dish pad provided by the Mutual’s roofing<\/p>\n
contractor at the expense of the Member.
