APPLICATIONS<\/p>\n

Attaching substances shall encompass glues or adhesive strips for<\/p>\n
coverings on concrete garage, courtyard, atrium and patio slabs only.<\/p>\n
Coverings for balconies shall utilize adhesive strips only.<\/p>\n

No screws, nails, or any type of penetrating attachments shall be<\/p>\n
permitted.<\/p>\n

Coverings and coatings in Non-Exclusive Use Common Areas such as<\/p>\n
driveways and walkways are prohibited.<\/p>\n

Color, style, fashion, or design of any floor covering shall be optional.<\/p>\n

The installation of a four-inch mow strip between the turf and any new<\/p>\n
patio slab and walkway coverings is required.<\/p>\n

Concrete stain and epoxy coatings are permitted on concrete slabs in<\/p>\n
garages, patios, atriums, and courtyards only.<\/p>\n
3.0<\/p>\n
MAINTENANCE<\/p>\n

Members must maintain and\/or replace, as needed, all floor coverings<\/p>\n
installed.
\n3.2<\/p>\n
Members may be asked to remove any floor covering for access to the<\/p>\n
subsurface for purposes of repairs as may be required at Member’s<\/p>\n
expense.<\/p>\n
3.3<\/p>\n
Members assume all responsibility to replace any floor coverings<\/p>\n
removed or impacted by repairs performed by VMS or its contractors.<\/p>\n
3.4<\/p>\n
Members assume all responsibility for tile that cracks or become loose<\/p>\n
due to the building movement or other causes.<\/p>\n
3.5<\/p>\n
Members assume responsibility for any building damage that occurs<\/p>\n
due to the installation of a floor covering.<\/p>\n
3.6<\/p>\n
If the floor covering holds moisture, restricts water drainage, or causes<\/p>\n
moisture related damage, the Member shall be responsible for all costs<\/p>\n
