On Monday, May 26, several thousand runners will compete in the City of Laguna Hills Memorial Day Half Marathon, including 10K and 5K events.

Street Closures (5:30 to 9:30 a.m.)
The race starts at Calle de la Louisa and Health Center Drive, and the following streets near the Laguna Hills Mall and Saddleback Memorial Medical Center will be closed from 5:30 to 9:30 a.m.:
- Calle de la Louisa
- Health Center Drive
- Calle de los Caballeros
- Mall ring road
- Paseo de Valencia
All races finish at the Laguna Hills Community Center on Alicia Parkway.
Village Impact
A portion of the race course enters the Village through Gate 2, traveling along:
- Via Estrada
- Calle Aragon
- Avenida Sevilla
- Avenida Majorca
- Then back via Via Estrada to Gate 2
As a Result
- Gates 2 and 4 will be closed from 5:30 to 9:30 a.m. (or until reopened by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department).
- Cul-de-sacs 9, 10, 21-24, 40 and 51-61 will be closed from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m.
- Gates 1 and 3 will remain open for resident access throughout the event.
Advance signage will be placed along the route to advise residents that no driving or parking is allowed on the race course between 5:30 and 9:30 a.m. on race day.
