A. General<\/p>\n
1<\/p>\n
Residents and guests must sign in upon arrival at the facility.<\/p>\n
2<\/p>\n
Food and beverage are prohibited on the playing surfaces (courts). Any<\/p>\n
food\/beverage in the shuffleboard room must be cleaned up and removed<\/p>\n
prior to room closure.<\/p>\n
All players must wear non-marking rubber-soled shoes. Leather-soled, high-<\/p>\n
heeled and open-toed shoes are not permitted for safety reasons.<\/p>\n
Dry-dust mop and apply dressing prior to court play. Playing on a dry,<\/p>\n
unprepared court is prohibited as it damages the playing surface.<\/p>\n
Walking on the courts with dressing is not permitted for safety reasons and to<\/p>\n
prevent court surface damage.<\/p>\n
Clubhouse 1 staff can provide information about dressing application and\/or<\/p>\n
answer any questions regarding shuffleboard activities.<\/p>\n
The courts are locked at all times. Clubhouse 1 staff can provide access if the<\/p>\n
resident leaves their Laguna Woods Village resident ID card with staff.<\/p>\n
Club meetings and events do not have priority use. Club tournaments and<\/p>\n
events must be approved by the Recreation Department in order to take<\/p>\n
priority at the facility. Please reference the Recreation Department policy for<\/p>\n
tournament guidelines.<\/p>\n
B. Guests<\/p>\n
1. The maximum number of guests allowed per resident is two. Residents must<\/p>\n
accompany their guests at all times. Guests under 10 years of age are not<\/p>\n
permitted to use the facility.<\/p>\n
