For example, replacing concrete steps<\/p>\n<p>with a ramp requires that the materials of the ramp be concrete.<\/p>\n<p>Poured concrete must meet current International Code Council<\/p>\n<p>(I.C.C.) requirements and have heavy broom-swept finish on the<\/p>\n<p>surface.<\/p>\n<p>2.1.2.<\/p>\n<p>Slab extensions must be sufficiently doweled to existing slab to<\/p>\n<p>prevent movement. Submitted plans must be approved by Manor<\/p>\n<p>Alterations for methods and materials to ensure sufficient<\/p>\n<p>stabilization of extension area, up to and including additional<\/p>\n<p>concrete<\/p>\n<p>removal<\/p>\n<p>y<\/p>\n<p>replacement to ensure extension<\/p>\n<p>es<\/p>\n<p>sufficiently tied into surrounding concrete.<\/p>\n<p>2.1.3.<\/p>\n<p>Materials for new construction may be any material that meets<\/p>\n<p>accessibility<\/p>\n<p>requirements;<\/p>\n<p>however,<\/p>\n<p>topography,<\/p>\n<p>landscape,<\/p>\n<p>irrigation, and other factors may limit the use of certain materials.<\/p>\n<p>For example, decomposed granite is a type of material that when<\/p>\n<p>properly installed will meet accessibility requirements; however,<\/p>\n<p>due to its granular nature, it erodes easily particularly at steep<\/p>\n<p>slopes. Proposed materials must be reviewed and approved by<\/p>\n<p>Manor Alterations and Landscape Services.<\/p>\n<p>2.2<\/p>\n<p>Exterior Ramps<\/p>\n<p>2.21.<\/p>\n<p>All ramps must meet current applicable City, State and Fair<\/p>\n<p>Housing requirements.<\/p>\n<p>2.2.2,<\/p>\n<p>Member shall contact Landscape Services for any removal of<\/p>\n<p>landscaping and alteration of the irrigation system, as a chargeable<\/p>\n<p>service.<br \/>\n2.2.3. Member(s) of the Property must sign and submit to the Mutual, c\/o<\/p>\n<p>VMS, Inc., at the Division office located in the Laguna Woods<\/p>\n<p>Village Community Center, an executed and notarized \u201cRecordable<\/p>\n<p>Exclusive Use of Common Area Revocable License\u201d for a proposed<\/p>\n<p>improvement that would utilize any portion of the Mutual&#8217;s Common<\/p>\n<p>Area.
