13th Annual Laguna Woods Village Games
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 13th - MONDAY, MAY 2nd
There are 26 events scheduled throughout the community: archery, badminton, basketball, bicycling, billiards, bocce ball, bridge (duplicate, progressive), equestrian, fitness, golf (18 hole, 9 hole, par 3), horseshoes, lawn bowling, paddle tennis, petanque, pickleball, poker, shuffleboard, softball, swimming, table tennis, target shooting, tennis, and volleyball.
ELIGIBILITY: Anyone competing in one or more of the events, either as an individual or as a member of a team, must have a valid Laguna Woods Village identification card. Safety is of primary concern, therefore some events require qualification. Waivers are required for archery, equestrian, fitness, swimming and target shooting events and must be signed prior to participation.
FEES: All participants are required to pay a registration fee: March 28th through April 8th - $12.00, and after April 11th- $15.00 for late registration. Registration includes participation in as many events as you like, an event polo shirt, invitation to the closing ceremony, and eligibility for medals. Some events have additional fees (archery, bridge, equestrian, golf, and target shooting) which are paid by the participant at the venue. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS.
REGISTRATION: The details of each competition are explained in the registration packet which is available in the Recreation Division office. Each individual competitor or member of a team of two or more must complete a registration form. Late registration is on a case by case basis. Check with the Recreation Division Office.
RECEPTION: Monday, May 2nd - Clubhouse Five Main Lounge, Doors Open 9AM. The closing ceremony will feature a program, photo slideshow, sponsor showcase, and continental breakfast for registered participants and sponsors. Your Village Games polo shirt is your ticket to the event!
