UPCOMING EVENT:  March Meeting

What To Do When The Light Go Out

Roxanne Kind will be the speaker at the March 16th Theatre Guild meeting. Her topic, "What To Do When The Lights Go Out" is a presentation she has designed to give examples regarding different situations that can occur when the lights go out and how they can be resolved. She will then invite the audience to share some of their own bloopers and how they dealt with them. This is sure to be a fun filled educational meeting.

Thursday March 16

Clubhouse 7

Doors open at 6:30 pm for socializing and light snacks

Program starts at 7:00 pm

Members Free / Guests $3.00

About Roxanne Kind: As part of the Saddleback Community College Emeritus Program, Roxanne teaches both the Improv and Scene Study classes on Monday mornings here in the Village. She began her career as a student of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. She graduated with a Masters in Education from C.S.U. Fullerton, is a SAG/AFTA member and has coached actors, directed plays and musicals, writes plays and scenes, and is currently working on a novel.

She considers one of her greatest accomplishments bringing "Plays for Living" in Raleigh, NC, that educated prisoners about to be released with moral plays about credit, anger management, and respect. She has also been an acting teacher for San Clemente middle school's Parks and Recreation after school programs, and a board member and talent judge for a non-profit charitable organization that awards 450 high school students for their achievements in musical theatre.
