Laguna Woods Village's Library

Laguna Woods Village's Library

The Village Library is adjacent to the Historical Society and near Clubhouse One. The total book, magazine and paperback circulation exceeds 140,000 annually. The Village Library began in 1964 as one room in Clubhouse 2 containing 1,000 donated books. That "box of books" has evolved today into a valued entity that offers over 30,000 items to the residents of our unique community and remains one of its unexpected gems.

The Village Library offers a wealth of selection, including the latest best-sellers, paperbacks, and a large selection of magazines and periodicals. And, many of the library’s books are also available in large print.

The Library is staffed by Laguna Woods Village resident volunteers and is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. The Library is also open on Saturdays from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. You may call the library at (949) 597-4274.
